Taproot Theatre is committed to serving the community in many ways. Our six Mainstage productions, Acting Studio, student and senior matinees, and touring programs reach over 100,000 people annually.
Ticket revenues, class registrations and touring fees cover approximately two-thirds of our operating costs. It is only through the support of individual donors, foundations, grants, and sponsorships that Taproot can continue to bring it's message of hope to the communities we serve.

The Prologue Campaign
The Prologue Campaign is a $2.2 million unified campaign to lay the groundwork for a potential capital campaign. The campaign targets four main areas of need: 1) Maintain sound and balanced annual budgets (2007 & 2008), 2) Retire the mortgage on the property, 3) Expand reserve funds, 4) Establish a fund to explore facility expansion.
Launched in March, 2007, the campaign is already over 1/3rd of the way to reaching its goal. Your contribution toward one of these four areas will put us that much closer!
